List moderating is a slippery slope, indeed!
Your even handedness and patience is an example that should be
broadcast to the industry (listkeeper industry?).
I say that even newcomers should be respected and expected to have the
maturity of adults.
If so easily offended, perhaps they are in the wrong place.
Knowledge is a hunt. Some effort is required, and some situations need
to be endured.
I say that your approach has been honed to near perfection!
