Hi Mike et al, I like hearing about off topic health related (and even operating system) issues as long as the thread doesn't go on forever. I'm not sure how often the digest is sent out but maybe a time limit could be set on how long a thread can go on without changing the name in the subject line? It seems like some people are lazy and just hit the reply button even though the topic has long since changed.
I get tired of hearing about how the doctors, pharmaceutical companies, medical profession, etc. are all bad guys that are in a conspiracy and they're out to get us. I also get tired of hearing about supplements and gizmos that are claimed to cure everything but there is no scientific proof, just testimony. But then again, I don't buy the weekly magazines at the checkout lines in the grocery store either. I would like to think of the silver list as a resource for information rather than vehicle for recruitment. With the election coming up, I hope we don't get too many posts from people in the two major political parties doing a lot of Libertarian bashing. God knows it's tempting... Though I prefer such complaints be issued to me privately, I'm willing to explore and debate the situation in the open for a bit, since member input always bears strongly on my choices of how to moderate the group. <snip> **************It's only a deal if it's where you want to go.
