Hi Dan, Yes, I agree that his text definitely leaves a lot to be desired, however, I was wondering, regardless of those flaws, whether the solution he's making may be a winner or something to avoid... that's all. Sometimes we can look to the "brightest" and find the worst or look to "foolish" and be surprised with the best. He claims that he has injected this stuff in cattle to cure various alilments for years with excellent results and that it works far better than ABX.
I too have experimented with a home made "Crock" device and interestingly enough I am sleeping better than I have in years, so I guess as Wayne and Ode like to remind us "what may be good for one is not not good for all and vice versa"...so many variables at work. His Energy Cleaner should not have any effect when one considers that it's based upon an incomplete circuit...but apparently many people who have stayed at his lodge will testify otherwise. Sooo....seeing that it works when it shouldn't I have been wondering about his sulhur/silver solution too and whether it might follow suit. The particle size can't be good judging by the look of it but could there be a way to make it properly. I spoke to him on the phone and he said that he gets agricultural sulphur powder and heats it in a pan on the stove and lets it harden, then he breaks it into two pieces and strings it onto silver wires with a friction fit after drilling holes through each piece. This could be completely nuts but on the other hand it may be something to look at for short term usage to kill pathogens....don't know... He has people drink this stuff but in his "fountain of youth" hot tubs he has people bathing in spring water with an Energy Cleaner screen immersed in the tub. Thanks for your reply, Blessings, Peter ----- Original Message ----- From: Dan Nave To: [email protected] Sent: Monday, October 06, 2008 1:40 PM Subject: RE: CS>Colloidal Silver/Sulphur Solution This site is apparently a Lee Crock site. It appears to have been written by a third grader. His pseudo-technical explanations are ridiculous mumbo-jumbo. However, that being said, I have experimented with a "Crock Device" under my mattress, which should have had zero effect from a scientific perspective, and I had to stop after a few days because it interfered with my sleep so badly. So, as unlikely as it seems, there may be something here. I wouldn't pay anywhere near $600 for it though. I wouldn't have a problem bathing in the silver-sulfur, but I wouldn't drink it. Is there anyone here with any knowledge or interest in this subject having a chemistry background? I ran across this website: http://www.leesfountainofyouth.com/ operated by an elderly man who believes that a colloidal silver/sulphur solution is the "best antibiotic known to man". He has some rudimentary instructions for making it on his site. I am wondering if the more versed among us in chemistry can comment on what is likely to be created with this method and whether such a concoction would be safe to ingest for anything other than sporadic consumption. Any comments would be welcome! Thanks, Peter
