Yes, I've been reading of your hubby's problem after using the DMSO, Dee. IF
we decide to use DMSO in any mix or straight, I'll be sure to dilute it to
probably 30% or so and test it in one area before proceeding. My dad said he's
on his second round of some kind of steroid pill and the eczema seems to be
getting worse. It sounds pretty severe, so I'm hoping to have lots of
suggestions before I leave work tomorrow afternoon (as I said earlier, I'm off
work and off-line Thursday thru Tuesday). Dad says his spots are patches of
red, itchy, scaly skin areas, but the area on his leg is one huge solid "patch"
from knee to ankle. I know that MSM is good for the skin and am thinkin this
might be something to try first, but not sure as to how much to use, how often,
etc. I will have to take/deliver anything that doesn't come from a drug store
up to him (2 hours away) as he's just not gonna go buyin stuff from the tack
and feed stores up his way. He's leery of my "doctorin" anyways! LOL But at
least he's willing to go along to get along if I bring him what he needs.
Hopefully someone will suggest something to help my dad as well as your hubby.
I'll be happy to forward any suggestions to you that I may get from the DMSO
list if you'd like.

Thanks!
Ruth

I do hope you find a remedy Ruth as I am having a similar problem with
my husband. He has a rash/spots which are really itchy then sore. It seemed
to start when we rubbed DMSO in to cure a really painful knee. Now ever since,
he has had this rash problem. The reason I am saying this is to be careful
with the DMSO application just in case it makes it worse. It all depends what
is causing the problem I think, but we can't establish the cause/trigger other
than the DMSO. All I know is, the various anti histamines and creams the docs
have given either make no difference or make it worse. I hope you have better
luck. Dee

Would y'all be so kind as to suggest protocols or remedies for eczema
for my 75 year old dad? I just got off the phone with him and apparently he
is taking a 2nd round of some type steroid for this problem (of which I had no
idea he had until just now). He says he has "spots/patches" on his arms,
torso, legs, and the clincher....
