## That's the general procedure, but pre-boiling sounds better to
keep that stuff out of the condenser to start with.
Separate the output into a number of different jars while the distiller
is going and see if the conductivity changes from one part of the run
to another?

I think it is an excellent idea. However since it has not been
determined whether the contamination is of lower or higher boiling point
than water, the last should not be distilled either, the contamination
may be coming over in the last 10% instead of the first 10%.
