I have access to distilled and triple R.O. water. The distilled did not register on my T.D.S. meter while the triple R.O. water registered at 5ppm. My tap water was well over 550ppm. Is the R.O. water safe to use at that rate. I have not used it yet as I can get a gallon of distilled for under $2.00, but I go and get the R.O. water for drinking so it is readily available.

That's true, BUT. . . for those of us that don't own a RO unit
and have questionable quality tap water, distilled water
is safe and cheap. At least in the U.S.
