Giving up was a mistake. If he experienced pain relief even temporarily
than further treatments would have given him more longer lasting or
permanent pain relief.

A friend used acupuncture for his knee. He said it relieved all pain but
it was back in a day or two. I think he tried it twice, then gave up.
