Art. I would sugget the following;
1. There is no need to heat the water. 2. Change to a 1 k series limiter 3. Switch more often every 5 or ten minutes. The faster the less yellow you will get. I use one minute switch times and do not get color. I guess it is possible. I will know tomorrow as I will try KC local water. 4. If you have read my earlier post this evening you will get a feel as to the effect of DW on the whole process. 5. One reason for using room temp water as the initial current is the best indicator of whast your process will do. However you must keep VERY GOOD records. Have some ppm checks made and with the data that you accumulate you will know rather closely what you have in ppm. 6. To make a repeatable CS involves a whole lot more than throwing a couple of wires in a glass of DW and shooting the kuie to it.
