MaryAnn;

No disguise, thick or thin; I apologize for the evident anger I
expressed in my heated response to you, and I continue to object to your
obfuscation particularly on the issues of de-beaking and your
belligerent, contemptuous response to another list member; whatever you
may feel that person "deserves".

Whatever condescension you find in Indi's posts, I leave it to you and
Indi to 'slug it out'; I stand by my observations of practice in the
poultry industry.

In that regard, my use of the word "miniscule" in referring to the size
of your operation was indeed phrased as a put-down, and if I object to
others doing that I certainly shouldn't do it myself. Again, I
apologize for my rudeness. Whatever value I may attach to my point, I
diminish it by that rudeness to you.

That said however, there is an obvious difference between the scale of
your operation and that of e.g., Foster Farms of approximately 1 to 50,
and your claim to know common practice in the poultry industry as a
whole over the past 13 years is evidently wrong. Yet it was on the
basis of this false claim that you called another person a proven liar;
not merely that your experience differed.

As regards condescension, I pointed out that you have used it in several
of your posts in this thread. The examples I referred to in our recent
exchanges are enough to show your practice and its intent. I gave you
back a small dose of your own medicine delivered in virtually your own
words, and you had it coming in spades.

Your comment of being blind-sided? Interesting.
The "desperation" of being "driven" to blocking emails? Versus, say,
deleting or not reading them or simply not responding? There's
certainly a problem here, and it involves the action of "rat-packing"
too; that's probably worth addressing with the "rat-pack"-ee; in less
rhetorically murderous and/or inflammatory terms; i.e., Both sides,
IMNSHO. (But I'm always a sucker for the underdog. So it goes <g>)
