The FDAs final word on CS is this:
We are not equipped to test it to our own standards.
No one else, who can, is interested in doing it..
We have decided to not decide... "Don't make us look"
If it works and it's easy enough for anyone to do, and there's no real harm
in trying... why are you asking for our approval?
Just DO IT.
Then , if you are wrong...YOU are wrong, not us.
Obviously, we couldn't stop you even if we wanted to.
Cover your OWN damned ass.

Curing you of all your ills isn't our job.
"Preventing harm" however badly we do that, IS our job.
