Jason,
Part of the problem in answering is not knowing how serious you are about CS.
Are you just trying it out of curiosity, intending to use it regularly as a
preventative or going to use it to fight a difficult illness. The kit is good
for the first probably useable for the second but may be unsatisfactory for the
last. Is it just for your use or will others be using the cs as well? Also, how
involved in the making of CS do you want to be? I like to have control of all
that I can and a manual unit such as that one is what I use. Others like the
automatic makers where you just push a button. Some CS machines give you a
choice of manual or automatic.
If you use CS for the long term you will outgrow that generator but you can
incrementally upgrade it over time. So I think the unit is fine.
But knowing what I do and that I will use CS for the long term, I would put my
money in getting larger silver electrodes. Depending on what I could afford.
BTW, DO NOT use silver from a jeweler. The silver they use has too many
impurities. Get silver with at least .999 purity. Silver coins or bars on eBay
or someone here can give you a link to a silver wire source. I have serveral
times that units cost in silver alone. I get DC power supplies (wall wart to
some) from thrift shops for 1 or 2 $ meter from Harbor Freight or Deal
Extreme. clips from Radio Shack.
But that also takes time. Are you in a hurry? Sorry that I don't have the
answer for you.
Good luck.

Subject: CS>CS Starter Kit

My girl friend insists that I could get all these parts from radio shack to
make CS except for the silver rods which I heard from this list that I could
buy from a jeweler. My argument is for $40 I could get all this delivered to my
house. My best guess would be to buy all this items separate would cost me over
$40, and take time tracking these items down. Any thoughts on this purchase
would be appreciated. Also Would this machine make a high quality CS THAT i
WOULD BE DESIRING? Thanks for any input.Jason
