I have heard that Opera is good, and pretty hack proof. However I do
have a web page that always fails with Opera with a bug in Opera and no
one has ever been able to find a work around, and Opera has never
addressed and fixed the problem, although it has been in Opera for over
8 years now.

I've got no idea Marshall, not being overly computer savvy, just
enough to do various things on it. There was plenty of memory
available (I even checked the CPU) but I just couldn't load Adobe
Flash Player using Firefox. As I say Explorer did it fine and so did
Opera, and I find a lot of stuff on Opera which is on IE but not FF,
and also Opera is faster. Hopefully, it will be less hackable than
IE. Dee
