After applying the Magnascent Iodine yesterday afternoon, I taped a penny over the sting maybe 15 min later. The 'sting' was mostly gone in a very short time. After work, I walked for an hour and ran some errands. Got home around 7:30 and took off the penny. The swelling had gone down, the 'knot/hard spot' underneath was mostly gone, it wasn't itching much, and it wasn't nearly as 'hot/warm' feeling.
I applied the 40% DMSO to CS mix and then rubbed on some fresh aloe vera. Did the same at bedtime, but used emu oil instead of aloe. Both times leaving it uncovered. So today it's pretty much the same as when I got home last night. Except for some of the hardness remaining underneath I guess I'm good to go. Well, the skin is pretty irritated from the bandaid and tape, but hopefully it will all be gone in another day or so. I just wanted to thank everyone who replied! Thanks again! Ruth
