I routinely get and delete several hundred spam per day in order to keep the list addresses open for people who would otherwise get caught in false-positive responses by the available ISP-level spam filters.
It's routine to see a dozen or more from my own address, as well as each of the four addresses associated with the two lists. I think many of these addresses are forged by the spammers' programs to put the recipients' own addresses in the To: field. So odds are that you're the only one seeing those messages coming from your own address. All your friends are seeing them come from *their own* addresses.
