I have read a few reports from owners of CS with DMSO added clearing "mange" spots and hair starting to regrow in 3 days.
But it does depend on the cause of the mange, mange mites will not be affected. But for fungal or bacterial skin problems that lead to "mange" as in ringworm CS/DMSO is said to be very effective. I don't have personal experience with ringworm or mange though. One tip I have read is to be sure to saturate the fur 1/4 inch outside/around the bald areas (at least).
