Thank you for your input concerning health and the do it yourselfers.
I have a problem with the use of soy, isn't there another way to accomplish this? I have a low thyroid and avoid soy as much as possible as it is a thyroid suppressor and a known carcinogen, the cause of Obesity and all the related diseases. It is in most everything in the Grocery store from soup to crackers and even peanut butter.(carefully check the labels as it has been added to everything).
I personally do not think lecithin from soy is a problem. It may contain a very miniscule amount of residual soy protein but it is not enough to cause any problems for most people, unless perhaps they are actually allergic to soy. I don't care for certain soy products, such as TVP, isolated soy proteins and the like, but I don't see soy lecithin as an evil to be avoided on pain of death or anything. In this I know I do not agree with the Price foundation.

You can get egg yolk lecithin in capsules

but I didn't find any sold as an un-encapsulated liquid except from bulk sources, don't know if they even sell retail, or how much you would have to buy, but I didn't look very hard, as I do fine with lecithin extracted from soy. If you had to try to puncture and express out 3 tablespoons of egg lecithin from gel capsules, that is going to be a nasty job, as well as get very expensive very fast I think.
