Soy is not something to avoid on pain of death but a slow deterioration of your body which can be blamed on "Old Age" and probably won't be detected by you for a long time until you notice the extra pounds creeping up and other problems highlighted by thyroid problems you didn't think you had. Like feeling crappy all the time. The soy doesn't do the damage directly but it does set the stage. Personally I'm not planning to go that route. Dave
