Jean,
Organic is supposed to mean grown without any synthetic or toxic
pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, or fertalizers and is not genetically
modified. Organic meat means the animal was fed an organic diet and not
preserved or processed chemically. I believe it also means it was not
irradiated.
Corrections welcome.

Hi,
Which one is correct?
Organic means GM free?
Or, organic means how it is raised?
Thank you,
Jean

That is correct.

Hi,
I have been trying to avoid GM in all foods. It is hard to do.
Today I received a catalog from King Arthur Flour and decided today
was the
day to avoid GM.
I called the company to ask if they had GM free grains and flour. The
conversation was a little fuzzy but the lady said if it says organic,
it is
NOT GM. I sure hope she is correct. Thought this meant how it was
raised.
