I know this is really off topic but here is an interesting article on how to build an efficient polar-power inverter using IGBT's. Inexpensive IGBT's are available from el;cetronic surplus houses. I guess that building one could be considered as health related if you were to build it wrong. Then you could use CS to treat the burns. :-)
