Dear Dear Marshall, Thank you for sharing this. I lost my mother and stepdaughter this past year. The details were a little different but the storyline was the same. At present I have a very intelligent friend who has cut me off because I suggested alternative therapies for her cancer.
I don't understand it. I have been through enormous grief about it. That I should have the information, at my fingertips... Well, you understand. I have to keep coming back to the idea that life is much bigger than what we see, than this physical existence. That I don't have all the answers. That life is not contained in a body, and that my mother, my stepdaughter, your mother, are alive and well. This gives me great comfort. My thoughts and caring are with you. There are so many you have helped, are helping, will help. Focus on that. We do what we can. That is all we can do.
