I use the COM-100 from silverpuppy, it is 55 or so, but gives me
accurate readings when I use it right.

Depends on what you mean by best. Cheapest, or what produces the best
results. The best results are obtained using atomic absorption
spectrometry, and next best would be a photo spectrometer with the
proper digestion and preprocessing of the product. The first I think
runs about $50,000 and the second about $5,000.
