[insoluble forms of silver, such as metallic silver]
-Not the particulate form of silver in my EIS??

[silver complexed with selenium or sulfur]

-What form of silver would that be then, ionic, particulate, protein, salts,
citrates, nitrates, fumes inhaled in a silver mine, our little old EIS, mud
that has settled on bottom of a container, Colloidal Silver?? Excuse my
ignorance but perhaps you could specify for me?

Must be pedantic as there are so many generalities
spoken/unspoken/hinted/alluded to/interpreted of or by/hidden/left to guesswork
etc, and must reiterate I'm not referring to CS, I'm referring to EIS only, I
know exactly what that is by definition, if it concerns any other product other
than EIS then I am done with it and have no further questions and see no
mileage in wasting anyone's time, particularly mine, with irrelevancies. If
there is not a destinction placed between EIS and CS then confusion and doubt
will reign supreme forever, and I can't accept that, I know what I produce and
it is only that product of which I have interest in.

If selenium is associated with CS, then great, it's of no concern to me which
makes this communication null and void...Press 'del' button on keypad now <g>.

Neville,
When I mention removing silver from the tissues I am referring to insoluble
forms of silver, such as metallic silver or silver complexed with selenium or
sulfur, in the tissues. Generally those are the forms of silver found in the
tissues of people with argyria.

I do believe we have read similar info Steve.

Your snipped quote: [I have found nothing to substantiate that any type of
selenium will remove silver from the tissues.]
-The question I would ask is "what form of silver is being referenced?" i.e.
predominantly ionic, predominantly particulate, compound, nitrate etc etc,
could be any one of a multitude of CS concoctions mascerading as EIS.

Not being of scientific background or possessing the appropriate credentials I
will continue to follow my 'hunch' while searching for relevant information,
which in all probability will not be found. With regard to EIS I have no doubt
whatsoever, perfectly safe.

I asked a question several months ago when last here but drew no response, to
which I assume no one really knows, so am not willing to pursue it any further,
I'll stick to my theory for the moment until I can find some info more
substantial.

Melly,
I have found nothing to substantiate that any type of selenium will remove
silver from the tissues. Studies do show that many forms of selenium complex
with silver and will cause silver to be deposited in the tissues. The silver
complexing with those same seleniums can cause a selenium deficiency leading to
liver damage.
Selenomethionine will not complex with silver and therefore not cause silver
deposition in the tissues. It also supports the liver and critical functions in
the liver that support silver removal but it does not remove silver directly.
So I agree with all you have said except selenomethionine directly removing
silver from the tissues.
 I hope this helps.

Steve,

I thought selenium (methionine ME) was supposed to be taken when one ingests CS
or EIS. It was said to escort out the silver particles from tissues. However,
someone in another group wrote that other seleniums other than ME makes silver
stay in tissues and can cause argyria. Are these correct?
