Treating him became a long and difficult process; so much so that he still fears being "caught" and placed on his back for the cleansing and application of the meds. I bet if I'd only known of CS back then, it would not have taken so long to get him healthy again. He would lie still on his back and was very good throughout the ordeal but when I was finished he would run away from me quickly. His chin has scars from the acne but he's free of breakouts and very rarely gets it now. I ended up having the most success with something called Pascalite which is a clay substance which one makes a paste to apply to the area to be treated. And all of this was after spending lots of money at the vets' with antibiotics etc. I'm getting my CS machine next week. I heard that it's been mailed and I should have it next week. I'm anxiously awaiting it. In the meanwhile, this wonderful list has been very informative and I must than all of you for your help.
