My cat tends to go limp when he's held by the scruff of the neck, but my fiancee' is always ready to lend an extra pair of hands. I find that when the cat's wounds are near/on the his head/neck (the usual spots), he's almost grateful for the attention. He did have one on his tail that made it look broken & was extremely sensitive about that one. That was definitely a two-person job! :o) There is always the old "Roll-em-up-in-a-towel" method, too.
