As for discoloring furniture, think dispersion over what area of how much
silver.
How much color change would you expect from painting an entire room with
one set of electrodes?..and that, would be excessive after running a
hundred gallons or so of water though the humidifier and all of it landing
on furniture rather than some being discharged outside or condensed in duct
work and cooler glass surfaces etc and waxed floors where it won't stick.
