Hi Mike.  OK -- that's what I thought you meant when reading your original
post, but wasn't quite sure.  Different terminology can be confusing.  I've
never heard the term "page down key" before, or "editing window", and wondered
if I had either of those.  I am astounded that that *relatively* small amount
of information comprises "pages", and uses such a large amount of kb's (?).  I
knew that it was all deletable, just didn't realize that it was a problem.
Wouldn't Wayne be appalled?  :-)

I'm well aquainted with trimming posts -- some lists are very strict about it.
Thanks for the info, and clarification.

P.S By allowing your message below, plus the Silverlist information below your
signature, this message is actually two pages, is that right?

That's what I mean. If you hit the reply button (however/wherever
that's done on yahoo mail) it brings up a window with quoted text in
it, I presume, and lets you start typing your answer into that same
frame or window. With your cursor in that editing window, hit the down
arrow key a bunch of times and you'll be able to scroll through ALL the
quoted text that's tagging along for the ride on your 2 or 3 line
message! <GRIN!>

*That's* the stuff you'd like to delete to make your message shorter!

Thanks for persisting with the questions, ma'am. That's how we *all*
learn...
