Unless someone has information to the contrary, the ppm level that you're 
making should be just fine.  If I'm wrong about that, I hope someone will speak 
up.  But that's exactly what I'd be using.

yes they are.  do both of us a favor and ask the list what PPM we should be 
making to give your mare?  We drink between 6 - 12 PPM - but for your mare I 
wouldn't know.  someone on the list should have an idea so that I will keep 
"brewing" until the correct PPM is reached.
