"Seeding" is using good stuff to make good bad water to reduce or even eliminate that *ramp up to current* time variable at the start.
 "Contaminate that water with a non contaminant"
Just don't use a bad batch to seed a new one...[seeds tend to grow what they are the seeds of]
or a batch that has had Peroxide added.

I read on the list a long time ago about seeding the distilled water with an ounce or two of CS before brewing.. I have been doing it every time I start a batch. I find it cuts the time of the brew down a lot. I get a really nice clear brew. I also use the laser to check if there is a nice red line & there always is.....Nice, Nice, & nice,, :-) Lois {{PS.. If anyone thinks seeding is not a good idea please let me know--- Thanks }}
