I have immersed blueberries that usually develop mold in a day or so. I immerse them for a couple of hours, in a large bowl of DW containing a liberal amount (free-pour measuring!) of home brewed CS -- 15 ppm approx -- and the berries lasted a week until eaten with no sign of mold on any of them. -- Spiroflex
