I buy it in bulk, and yes it is bitter.
For my own dosage, I dissolve a tblespn in water and add 1/3 teaspoon
of ascorbic acid powder (vitamin C). Tastes a bit like lemonade.
Sometimes I just dissolve it in whatever juice I'm making up (orange,
carrot, beet, etc) and don't taste it at all. I suppose you can just
get used to it!
Another little trick, when drinking something distasteful, is to hold
your breath while swallowing. You won't taste it.

For my wife, I load up 00 capsules. Empty capsules and a capsule
machine can be purchased from Vitamin Research Products (VRP) on the
web.
