Hi Nenah,
Do you belong to the yahoo group for animals that uses silver? Someone help me
with the name of the group I forget. Makes me sick to hear of people doing
things like this to defenseless animals. Bless you for taking her in and taking
care of her. I sure hope you don't have to put her down.
Please keep me posted if you would on how things turn out,
Debbie

Subject: CS>Eye injury on dog, need help

I have a situation with a dog that I’m hoping to get help with right away.

She’s a Chihuahua mix that I rescued from the pound (they were going to put her
down). She’d been kicked in the face. The huge scab covering her snout healed,
but the eye that had been kicked did not heal. It was (and is) smaller than the
good eye, light did not reflect out of it, and she couldn’t see out of that eye.

I sprayed her face constantly with Colloidal Silver and Willard Water. Her
blind eye remained slightly infected (although it was better), so I eventually
resorted to allopathic drops which worked quite well.

All was fine until about a week ago, when a white spot appeared, similar in
appearance (and probably in composition) to a cooked egg white.

It might be too late to save her vision, but I’m concerned about the
possibility of infection due to lack of blood flow. However, I do know that
miracles can happen and I’d love her to see again. Someone on another list, who
is not available to clarify what she wrote, told me:

“I have used for eye injuries (vets told me dogs would be blind, pine sol was
in the eyes. Long story ) Vitamin A along with CS and homeopathic Euphrasia
30c. I broke open Vitamin A caps and placed a few drops in the affected eye 2
times a day. I flushed 2 times a day with CS and also 2 times a day with
Euphrasia in distilled water. Miraculous recovery here from a acid burn injury
to the cornea that was so severe that the white of the eye was red, the iris
was filled with blood, and the cornea was nearly fogged opaque and reflected
back blue like a blind animals eye. All is well today”

I have several questions about the above.

1) Has anyone tried this, or something similar?

2) What brand of Vitamin A would I use?

3) Should I put the Euphrasia directly into the eye, or feed it internally, or
both?

4) What about Dr. Schulz’s eyebright formula? Or something from Dr. Christopher?

I’d greatly appreciate your suggestions.

Thanks.
Nenah
