For years I've been disgusted watching people drink blazing hot coffee out of Styrofoam cups.
I occasionally (quite rarely-less than once every couple years) drink coffee out of styrofoam if there is no alternative, and I'm really desperate. I usually take my insulated stainless lined coffee cup travelling with me, and just have that filled, or a glass lined thermos bottle. What *I* would never drink out of styrofoam is iced tea with lemon........or other very acid drinks. I don't think coffee is as acid as tea, and it certainly isn't as acid as lemon, or orange juice. I don't really know how big a problem it is, though. I mainly do not like putting more styrofoam trash into landfills, LOL.
