Arghhhh.... what is the point of eating a jalalpenos if it isn't hot?  I LOVE 
hot peppers and when I get one that isn't I usually discard it.

        The main heat is in the seeds AND the white membrane.  Cut the 
jalapenos in half, get rid of those 2 items and then they are easy to use.  
Most jalapenos are not too hot either, so once you get rid of the seeds and 
membrane, you just have a nice spiced pepper flavor.

        Just DON'T scrape the seeds out with your thumb!  Under your fingernail 
will burn for a long time.  :-)  use a knife.

        A couple of times when my son sauteed jalapenos, we've all started 
coughing and running to raise the windows.  I wonder how you're supposed to
