If you are in a city that uses Chloramine rather than Chlorine it will not dissipate and you will need a additive that makes the chloramine sink to the bottom of a bucket and then you siphon off the top water (this has to be done as Chloramine kills fish so available at pet stores in cities that have this in their water)
