I think the selenomethionine version is the one you want Robert. The reason for this is that the body doesn't have to go through the process of converting selenium into this form which is the form it can actually use. A bit like using magnesium citrate instead of mag oxide i.e. the body can use the citrate form much better than the oxide form which it has to convert first. As we age, we lose the ability or enzymes or both - to convert some substances which is why - theoretically - we supplement because otherwise, we can have deficiencies of one sort or another. dee
