DaddyBob Here is something else I remember from my childhood years. The girl next door to us stepped on a hoe type thing that doesn't have a blade but 4 curved pronged. They went almost all the way thru her foot. Her Mom poured turpentine over it. back then we hardly ever went to a doctor and don't think she did either. Edith
