I can get tamarind pods in my grocery store but they have a skin on them
that would need removing. I have bought tamarind in the Asian market in
a block, but still containing seeds, so I slice it and just eat it, but
I suppose you could slice and put into various recipes. Probably there
are recipes on google.

Hi,
I have met tamarind seeds unexpectedly in some Caribbean candy and
they will *break your teeth*. The candy is wonderful but be wary of
the seeds. I would imagine a hammer would be needed to crack them and
make to make a tea, if one was considering use that. One used to be
able to find Tamarind pulp in the frozen food cases but I would guess
that depends on where you live.
