Call up a horse organization in your area and get their wisdom; here with the 
flies,  horses are wearing garb to protect themselves. Do google search--there 
has to be something.  Try another feed store--can't imagine there is no help!  
Don't quit till you find the answers and then help others.

I did google search under: natural horse protection from flies
Hope this helps find answers for the horse...easy to say no help but there has 
to be just like my dog who got healed of lupus....
