-I know what it'll do if one places a hand on top of a wringer on those old
240v wringer washing machines, and gets a boot, the muscles in the hand
contract and you won't be able to let it go. My dear old mum got zapped that
way many moons ago. Besides telling me to get out of the laundry and not to
come near her {I was only a little kid then} I can't imagine what she was going
through as she composed herself enough mentally to physically wrench her hand
from that wringer {I still shudder when I think about the time factor while
being electrocuted}. She felt a bit crook for the rest of the day, but it
didn't kill her. Praps she had a good pair of shoes on that day too?
