I have found tea tree oil most effective to eradicate
lice.  Rub it on the hair and scalp then shampoo with
a mild shampoo to which the tee tree oil has been
added
leave on the head in a lather for at least 1/2 Hour
-soap up again and rinse I like to finish with apple
cider vinegar.  The hair will be soft and free of
bugs.  You may need to repeat but even so it is easy
and no toxic stuff to deal with.  Tingles the scalp a
