Dear Mr. Downey.
I sympathize with your circumstance, having lost
a dear
young associate to cystic fibrosis, just last year. A comment or two
that may
prove of interest to you: We have, in the past, conducted research
employing
nebulizers and CS/MSM solutions....driven by both compressed air and
pressurized
O2.
We found that dissolving MSM crystals in 10 ppm CS to obtain
a
"super-saturated" solution, yielded the most effective substance for
addressing
upper respiratory disorders----affecting the bulk of our human
volunteers.
The advantage of adding MSM to the equation is the very
pronounced
gain in "penetration" obtained through the mucous barrier affecting
various forms
of alveolar fibrotic conditions. Additionally, we found that using an
applied O2
pressure regulated to 30 psi, yielded the optimal choices for
focusing/regulating
the discharge geometry from our nebulizing systems. If you are
interested, I
made several posts last winter/spring outlining, basically, the
mechanics of our
experimental researches (included were the parts lists and part # of a
very
economical artist's air-brush assembly we used in these evaluations).
I did not retain a copy of my postings and do not have a
readily-available archive containing those posts. However, I have a
young
internet acquaintance named Ivan Anderson, who I believe does have a
copy of
those posts. His email address is [email protected] I am confidant he
would be
pleased to share them with you.
Because of the very powerful complications of disorders
similar
to yours, that invoke very compromising mucous problems within the
alveolar
environment----I strongly suggest you familiarize yourself with
Enzymatic
Therapies. We have enjoyed some genuine success (in our experimental
researches)
using chymotripsin, trypsin, bromelain and associated protease-type
enzymes.
A layman can do no better than to inform themselves through
such
books as "The Complete Book of Enzyme Therapy", By Dr. Anthony J.
Cichoke. It is
a 1999 publication and is an absolutely splendid reference and easily
understandable by the layman. Amazon books carries it via the Internet.
Do feel free to contact me off-line, if you so desire.
Sincerely. Brooks Bradley.
