Yea I know what you
mean. the first time one bit me on the left side of my neck and
it swelled up like a golf ball and when it was over after the
doc treated me, I still ended up with a nice scar on my neck
that is still there after more than 11 years ago. Those BRs are
mean little buggers.

CS saved my face from a Brown Recluse bite, too. I was
living in Vallejo, CA at the time, when my "friendly" neighborhood
spider dwelling behind my pillow came up and bit me twice, beside
my right eye and on the cheek.
Well, after using CS, I ended up with a black scab, which, when
it fell off, left a small pit.
Not bad considering I would have needed skin grafts without
CS!!!

What an amazing
story, Joe. When you soaked your finger, what did
you use to soak it in... hot water, hot CS, Epsom
salts or something else?
Thanks.

CS>Saved from Spider bite
I just had to report on what
happened to me last Sunday night. Some time during
the night in my sleep, I was bitten by a poisonous
spider just behind the finger nail on my left
index finger. It's not the first time I have been
bitten by a spider but it doesn't happen very
often, maybe once in 10 years, but enough to tell
you, I know what bit me. Here in N.Tx. we have
brown recluse spiders that usually leave people
alone unless we bump into each other by accident,
usually in the dark because they don't like light.
Behind my bed it is almost always dark and guess I
hung my arm off the bed during my sleep.
by the time I woke up Mon. morning, my L.index
finger was swelling up with a nice ruby red glow
down to the knuckle. I was a bit slow on the up
take about the problem the rest of the day, but by
Tue morning the finger was tender to the touch and
swollen to the max from just behind the fingernail
to the tip of my finger.
The spider bites I endured before stayed swollen
for nearly a week and by the time the poison burst
out, I wound up with nasty scars, so I knew this
bite wasn't going to get any better by itself and
without antibiotics, I was most likely going to
loose the fingernail and have a nasty healing. So
I poured a 100% solution of CS into a shot glass
my son left behind after a visit a while back and
sat down to stare at the boob tube. I let the
finger soak for an hour and checked it and pus was
starting to drain from out from under the cuticle.
I used a paper towel to daub the milky looking
stuff up, enough drained out to equal about 3 cc's
into the paper towel. What a relief. The best
thing is that after soaking for another hour, I
repeated the draining process to glean out the
last of the poisonous stuff and by wed. morning my
finger was down to normal size again. This is not
common for what I experienced from earlier bites
that I had a doctor lance. No scars, the nail area
is once again healthy looking. I can draw no other
conclusion than this, CS works!
Have a great day.
