In less than 24 hours, I have received over 50 emails asking me for the article. I need some help in disseminating it. The help is in two parts.
Before I ask, for those who have pointed to links already on the web: the reason I didn't want to use the prepared pdf files that can be found elsewhere on the Internet is that these are RETYPED documents that say "excerpt." I wanted the ORIGINAL COPY of the actual article, and that is what my librarian friend sent me. That said . . . the pdf file I was sent includes the cover page that the lending library sent my friend. (The cover page contains the information of the lending institution, the receiving library, and the personnel in those libraries.) I would like to be able to disseminate this scan, but WITHOUT the cover page that contains personal and irrelevant information. Here is the two-part favor I need: (1) I need the help of someone who has an Adobe Acrobat program-NOT simply Adobe Reader, but the fuller program that can actually alter files. Then the document can be distributed WITHOUT THE COVER PAGE. This is very important to me. (2) Once this document is prepared, I would like someone to post the pdf of the original article someplace so that people can have access to it. I am unable to post this in a public place at this time. If anyone can help, please write me off-list. When the pdf file is ready, I'll make an announcement. But in the meantime, please hold your requests. Thanks.
