Well that's true, dust etc could settle in the containers, but I just *place*
the lids on top of the containers while in storage to minimise any contaminants
from the air settling in them.
And I put a plastic bag over the trodes on my machine when it's in the
cupboard. In fact, I use a bag that my cigarette filters come in <g> {I roll
my own smokes}.
No, I don't have any problem brewing clear batches just by wiping the
containers out with a paper towel. However, having said that, I do
*occasionally* get a batch which may show undiscernable colour to naked eye, or
thru to yellow, but this could be due to any number of reasons not necessarily
related to container cleaning.
My philosophy is, unless one is working in a sterile environment it's pretty
difficult, if not impossible, to eliminate *all* possible contaminants and/or
environmental factors.
I eliminate/minimise what I can, given my production procedures and the
environment I operate in.

I have several vessels used for brewing and storage and I never have a need to
decant or wash or rinse them out with anything.
When one is emptied I simply wipe it out with a paper towel and put it straight
back in the cupboard until it's needed again for another batch.
I personally don't believe HP is necessary for any reason, either prior, after,
or anywhere in between if everything is working as it should.
But I repeat, that's my belief, based on several years experience and
observation in making this stuff.
If everything is working as it should, and one is not attempting to brew a high
strength solution, there should be no need to decant or rinse them out with
anything.
My Advice: Remove those trodes from the water at regular timed intervals and
wipe them with a paper towel {if you think it necessary or not} before
resubmerging them, and don't use HP to rinse those vessels out.

I knew this question has been discussed before. I just don't have time
looking back the files. I am busy to find good remedies for my newly diagnosed
chronic lyme. I would like to add CS to my portocol. I use Utopia sillver
bullet. Last week I was happy my batch was crystal clear. I did intensive
cleaning my jar with H202 and distiller water. Today it was very disappointed.
lots particles/ashes around the silver wires. the water is gray and opaque.
I dare not to drink. What could be the problem? Please advice. Helen
