Hi listers, This is a very interesting use of magnets. Called Bunting Magnetics to check up on some catalog items and found that the Ceramic 5 magnets are 3800 gauss and only $15.13 each plus shipping. Pt. no. R-2501. Dimension is 2.835in dia. with hole in center of 1.155in and thickness of 0.4 inches. I use a similar magnet for structuring water while making CS. If you want stronger magnets try the Cast Alnico 5 at 12700 gauss or the Samarium Cobalt 26 at 10400 gauss. Remember to keep all magnets away from your computer and disks.
