David,

There's been a letter circulating around the internet for some time now
regarding questions asked of the FDA regarding any adverse effects - they have
none!. Using this letter, and rewording it, I asked the TGA for any
information on what we make - they have none either! They stated they have no
plans at the present time to ban home generators {this would mainly be cos
silver generating equipment is used in a host of ways approved for water
purification etc by those same authorities, which would make it pretty much
impossible to ban home generators}.

They pick on the so called 'colloidal silver' cos marketers waffle on and make
all sorts of claims regarding their product, and some of those products contain
nasties of which we are all aware of - which is by and large not what we
produce. There is a distinction between what all and sundry call 'colloidal
silver', what the authorities classify 'colloidal silver' as, and what we make
in the kitchen. Our TGA just lump anything that relates to silver in one big
bag cos they haven't a rats a_rse clue about our product, and as with most
other things here will follow America like sheep.

It's the squeaky wheel that gets the most oil, and as I believe Ode has stated
in the past...words to the effect...if there's no squeak there's no need for
oil, and I now understand exactly what he's on about. If nobody huffs and
puffs, nobodies house will be blown down and we can go about our business til
the cows come home.

What we make does fly under that radar because the authorities have absolutely
zero information regarding our product, and going on the TGA's reply, and
reading between the lines, they aren't interested for exactly that reason. If
any authority ever did look closer at it I have no doubt there will be rules,
regulations and a whole range of blah blah brought in to control EVERYTHING
about our product. If that happens, everyone will be stuffed.

I don't like how this stuff is maligned any more than the next person, but I
don't see there's much we can do about it until SOMEONE decides to continue on
from where past researchers left off, and I don't see funding being made
available unless there are strings attached...which would defeat the whole
purpose of that research anyway cos 'conformity' will be imposed on the
researcher to satisfy some drop kick beurocrat who will stipulate what that
research will consist of, or how it's done, or whatever.

Just my opinion on the subject.
