Ivan- >How do you clean your jar?
hmmmm lets see. I normaly use a mild detergent and then several rinses with DW before I start cooking. >If your process is the same as normal, (same time, temp, etc.) then the >only variables I can think of are, the age of the water, and >contamination of the jar. hmmmmm age of water. that's a possible factor. thats the only thing that might have changed. good point. The best colloid I ever made was when I first ordered in a batch of pharmiceudical-grade water (called BP, here in the UK) >What do your electrodes look like, smooth or pitted? Fairly smooth but they do wear out fast. My DC unit is supposed to cut off at around 15 ppm but it takes a really long time, like 6 hours. I'm looking forward to trying AC, which I hear is faster and more stable. thanks for the help, Steve King > >Ivan >----- Original Message ----- >From: Steve King <[email protected]> >To: <[email protected]> >Sent: Saturday, 2 October 1999 00:00 >Subject: CS>Clear. . . gold. . . dark gold. . .
