Uh Oh. I've been using detergent too and rinsing thoroughly or so I thought. Then I've rinsed some more with DW. The reason I've used detergent is that after making a batch, there is a little dark circle under where one of the electrodes is located in the jar so I've cleaned it more carefully to get rid of it.
