In Japan, the only EM product sold for human consumption is EMX, which is very, 
very expensive, and has no active bacteria, if I understand the product, and 
are thus not probiotics.  TeraGanix sells EMX products as well as a human 
probiotic liquid.    

I can vouch for the "sick house" remediation, though I have no idea at all how 
the microorganisms have this effect on out-gassing materials.   I can also say 
that EM 1  loves to eat rust, and could probably salvage many "hopeless" tools 
and metal items a person might have on hand.   

The ceramics, if they work as claimed, have enormous potential.   Everything 
one needs to know is in Higa's books -- or I should say, all one needs to know 
to start learning more.
