Calc Phos belongs to a 'family' of homeopathic remedies known as cell
salts. I don't have first hand knowledge of it's application ie:
baby teeth but I do know this. The wonderful thing about cell salts
is this: they either help or they don't. But they won't harm you.
You shouldn't take them willy-nilly but they are relatively harmless.
On the other hand, they can be of great benefit if you take the time
to study up on them and apply as needed.

As to your specific question ? Is it safe? Absolutely!! Adult normal
dosage is 4 tabs under the tongue and let them slowly dissolve. Make
sure you take them 15 mins or 1/2 hr from eating or drinking anything.
If for an acute problem, take every 15 mins or hr until problem is
resolved. For chronic conditions, take the same dosage of 4 tabs 2 -
3 times per day. For a child, I would cut the dosage in 1/2... say 2
tabs under the tongue several times a day. They are sweet tasting
so.. taste shouldn't be a problem. The main trick with cell salts is
to stop taking them as soon as the condition resolves itself. :)
